I have heard Smooth Jazz from all the top artist however I have never heard such a great sound and feeling like on the Cd "Salt & Pepper with Creole Seasoning and tasty Jazz" Being from Louisiana and close to New Orleans I know something when I hear it and this has a new twist and groove to it.

Veteran Sax man Dave Duplissey calls the sound of his eleventh album " Louisiana Smooth Jazz" and having gigged with Etta James and John Fred and the Playboys and has gotten one of his instrumentals on the Weather Channel, he's certainly qualified to give that kind of genre-bending a shot. Turns out there is indeed in his tone that transcends the limits of smooth jazz even at his most facile, he's more Red Tyler then Kenny G, although he usually splits the difference.
